XGL live CD
Now anyone(with good graphic card: nvidia or ati) can experience the latest Novell’s XGL goodies, because Kororaa live Linux CD has been released. It’s based on Gentoo Linux, it has the latest Xorg 7, GNOME 2.12.3, 3D support for NVIDIA & ATI graphic cards on XGL.
Totem can play most video formats(xine-lib 1.1.1), Rhythmbox can play mp3s, you have Firefox & Gaim & Evolution, Gimp & Evince, Gnomebaker and other standard GNOME apps.
You can mount your disk partitions in terminal: mount /media/xxx
And XGL is just amazing, this live CD has every plugin available with Compiz window manager(wobbly windows, cube, fade, opacity, rotate, scale, switcher, zoom,…) it’s a must try, definitely !

There are some mirrors on the page for direct download, but they are probably under heavy load, you know… people going crazy.
